BACK TO NEWSThe NSPCC reports that figures from a Freedom of Information (FOI) request sent to police forces in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland show that: there were 76,204 recorded sexual offences against children in the UK in 2018/19, a rise of over 60% since 2014/15; 16,773 offences were recorded against children aged ten and under; and 341 of the offences were against babies under the age of one.
