We are seeking a suitably experienced individual to join our Allegations Support Team (full-time, part-time and job share will be considered). A qualified social worker, related professional or experienced foster carer will be considered for the role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team supporting foster and kinship carers across the UK. The successful candidate will find themselves welcomed into a friendly, inspiring and flexible organisation, where the ambition is to provide high quality, impartial advice, guidance and support to carers across the full range of experiences and issues they encounter in their day to day lives, caring for children and young people. The role will provide professional, independent advice and support to foster and kinship carers subject to allegations or concerns, and the independent advisors who support them, and ensure the day to day functioning of this sector leading service. We are seeking suitably qualified practitioners to join our UK-wide network of experienced Advisors delivering the Allegations Support Team service on a self-employed basis.

Main Purpose: To provide professional, independent advocacy, advice, and support to foster carers that have had concerns, complaints or allegations made about them, in line with the specification set out between FosterTalk and its clients; the Local Authorities and Independent Fostering Agencies with who FosterTalk contracts. The role also focuses on empowerment and re-building resilience of foster carers in the interests of retention following the impact of allegations. We are particularly interested in applicants within reach of; London, Cornwall and the South West, Norfolk, Wales, Scotland, Manchester and the North West.
