Up to two million of the most disadvantaged schoolchildren in England will be able to access high-quality tuition as part of a plan to help pupils catch up on lost learning following the Covid-19 pandemic. The National Tutoring Programme will offer disadvantaged pupils tuition worth £350m during the 2020/21 academic year as part of a £1 billion “catch up” package of support announced by the government.
