The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) has published an article looking at how the coronavirus pandemic is affecting children and young people in Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities in the UK. The article points to evidence which shows that while younger people are a low risk group for the virus, BAME children and young people are experiencing the pandemic differently from their peers as a consequence of the disproportionate social, economic, and psychological impacts on their communities.
