Just Like Us has released findings from research looking at the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on Black LGBT+ young people’s mental health. Findings from a survey of almost 3,000 secondary school pupils across the UK include: Black LGBT+ young people are more likely to be worried for their mental health with 61% worrying about their mental health on a daily basis, compared to 56% of white LGBT+ young people; and are also more likely to be experiencing depression, anxiety disorder, and panic attacks than white LGBT+ pupils.
