The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has launched a study of children’s social care provision in England, Scotland and Wales to establish why a lack of availability and increasing costs could be leading to the needs of children in care not being met. The CMA are inviting comments from interested parties including care and accommodation suppliers, local authorities, looked-after and care-experienced children and their advocates.
The deadline for comment is 14 April 2021.
