Girlguiding UK has released new research looking at how girls and young women aged 4-18 in the UK are coping during the latest national lockdown and with the changes that have occurred in their lives over the past year. Findings from a survey of 1,900 members include: 53% said the pandemic and latest lockdown have negatively affected their mental health, with older girls being the most affected; 42% of girls said they were feeling more lonely, 43% more sad, and 44% more anxious and worried than during the first lockdown in March 2020.
