The Scottish Government has published its Young Person’s Guarantee Phase 1 Activity Plan and announced that the first organisations have signed up to back the Young Person’s Guarantee. The aim of the scheme is to give all young people in Scotland the chance to succeed despite the economic impacts of COVID-19: within two years, every person aged between 16 and 24 will have the opportunity, depending on their circumstances, to study; take up an apprenticeship, job or work experience; or participate in formal volunteering.
