Suicide Prevention Report

The National Suicide Prevention Leadership Group in Scotland has published its first annual report. The group was established in September 2018 to support the delivery of the Scotland’s new Suicide Prevention Action Plan Every Life Matters, published in August 2018. The report contains 11 recommendations to the Scottish Government, including that “The Scottish Government and COSLA should determine how best to put in place reviews of all deaths by suicide of young people which occur during a defined period after leaving the care system.”
