Coronavirus: school re-opening plans

The Department for Education (DfE) has announced that schools and colleges in England will not return to full face-to-face education after the February half-term and that the current attendance restrictions will remain in place until 8 March 2021 at the earliest. The Department of Education in Northern Ireland has said that schools will continue to provide remote learning until at least 5 March. The Welsh Government has announced a phased and flexible return to school after 22 February, if the public health situation continues to improve.
